Hello All

Any problems installing 452 heads on a 74 400 engine?

Thanks

452's are not the most wanted, but for a street build, just fine. Like all BB Mopar iron heads a little grinding under the valve seat area makes a very big improvement.

Better is a 915 with their closed chambers but $$$$. The 452's are probably real close to a 906 but came with induction hardened exhaust valve seats but that will be gone of anyone has stuck in oversized valves....and yup...the factory valve pockets suck big time. It's pretty amazing just how much nicer the heads are on the modern gen Hemis are.....

I've got 452's on my 73 400, no problems. 452's are very close to the 906 heads but have hardened seats, everything else is close.
