This thing is made from parts on hand that were cheap. Free motorhome block (0$). Repaired Molnar 4.500" crank. Welded 3/4 rod journal ($300). Now std/std. Made up a set of 8 Molnar rods from my broken racecar and a friends racecar ($25). New Mahle pistons, rings, pins from a member here ($500). Won an ATI damper (0$). Set of swap meet ARP studs ($25) .Figured out how to fit the 4.5" crank in the stock block. Rods needed minimal clearance, only 2 actually touched. Clearance the pick up boss. Biggest issue was the pick up. Ground for clearance and then made a mount to strengthen it with a 3/8" Allen bolt thru the O.E. dipstick hole (opened up to 3/8"). Decked it might minimal do to compression restraints. -.013 in the hole. So pretty nice piece for a street car

Very nice. Didnt think the internal pick-up could be used with that much stroke. Well done.

Like i said street motor. Probably wouldn't have built this. But the parts were in hand. Its a original V code 6 pac Challenger. So iron 6 pac manifold and carbs. Trick flow 240s. Comp hyd roller 335/241.10.6-1. Probably done before 5500. But the torque, ye haw.
