Hi everyone this is my first post so be nice to me has anyone ever put a 56 desoto hemi in a 66 satellite? It’s sort of in but very tight on the heads and have y stuck with the original steering box

Welcome from Alabama. My question is why? I know it looks cool, but in stock form it's a 230 horse engine.

Cool swap. If it was easy anyone could do it, that's why "anyone" owns Chevies. I don't think those are wider than a 426 and I had PS in mine from the factory.

Agree with the cool factor for sure , Im slightly biased as I own a hemi Satellite

There is a local guy here in AZ doing an early hemi in a Valiant . So Im sure yours can be done

not in the uk they are not
Now a early Hemi in a early A is a shoehorn fit but it looks right at home in there.

that looks perfect what steering did you use please and did u fabricate the engine mounts ?
 
Missed you being in UK. There mopar engines all over NOT.
 
1967 Dodge Coronet with spool mounts and factory air conditioning car with power brakes. Re located factory blower motor deeper into air box and used customer belt/mount for air conditioning compressor
