I’m installing a 6.2 Hemi and a 8 speed auto in my 1965 Dodge. Gerst front suspension. Factory oil pan is front sump I was told to use a center sump. The Holley rear sump has bolt holes to bolt it to the transmission like the factory pan
Is there any reason I can’t use the rear sump?
Thanks

It seems like the people here aren't very helpful. I also have a '68 Charger 6.1 Hemi swap and I also have questions.

I would be happy to help you, but I don't have an answer to your question; I'm a newbie to Mopar and Hemis.

I ended up using a rear sump. I’m using a Gerst front end. The rear sumps bolt to the transmission like the factory. If you’re using a stock K member you will need to use a middle sump. Other wise the center link will hit. Also A 6.2 Hemi pan is different than the other Hemi Let me know if you need any help. I’m learning the hard way

pictures showing the rear Holley pan bolted to the transmission My son is putting a 6.4 and transmission in a Warlock truck and had to use a rear sump
