does the center carb on a 6 pack need to be hooked to the valve cover? I'm having problems when at crusing
speeds. It studders a little.

There's one at the top and base of the carb. I have the one at the base plugged off and the top open.

The one at the base goes to the PCV on valve cover, best to have this one hooked up. The one on top, best to leave open.
