Trying to figure out how the park brake cable runs on my dads 62 polara. When it comes off the pedal where does it go through the frame ? Also does it go through the trans mount ? If so, what side lt. or rt.

It comes through the back of the fender well. Then it turns down and through the slotted hole in the frame, runs past the gas peddle bolts in the floor (that's where a clamp attaches to one of the gas peddle bolts) then through the hole in the transmission's cross member.

Thanks great info. My dads 62 is missing the slotted hole in the frame.
