I believe the steering column opening area is different from 63-64 or maybe it's 65 I'll have to look but that can be easily changed.
the one pic with a motor is a 64 dodge the other is a 63 dodge
thanks the steering column hole in my 63 was a little chewed up & I had to find a patch piece from a 62/63 only which I'm assuming it's different due to the cable shift column in 64/65 but if I remember correctly I don't think there are any major differences that couldn't be easily changed if you can't find a nice 62/63 replacement & have to use a 64/65
There 3 firewall/cowl units. 62/3, 64 and 65.
65 was the first for the column shifter thus it has a larger column hole in the wall otherwise is the same as 64.
Difference between 62/3 and the later ones is more on the top cowl section. The wall section is pretty much the same as the later ones.
Here is a 63 lighter blue and a 64, darker one together.
