Hi,
I'm helping a friend repair his 63 Savoy. The car got hit at the race track on the passenger side. Some idiot in a 9 sec Monza crossed the center line and instead of lifting, stayed in it and slammed into the Savoy. The same idiot actually owns a body shop and didn't even offer to help fix the damage he caused.
We could try to salvage the quarter panel but it's a mess. I'm looking for a replacement and as you guys know, 63 Plymouth body parts are not exactly easy to find. I'm looking for suggestions on how to find a quarter panel. I've searched via the usual Internet search tools and so far have come up empty. I have another friend who's a paint/body guy and he's willing to help us out if we can come up with a quarter panel. Do you guys know of anyone or yard that might have one? Do you have any suggestions of where I could look? Are there other years/models that would work (e.g. 63 Dodge B body)? Would a 4 door QP work?
Thanks.
