64 Polara hood chrome trim resto

I have a 64 Polara and will be painting the center section of the hood chrome trim .Question what have others used for the silver color and what brand and store purchased from.

Would the MOPAR Silver Argent part #4529876 be correct. Has anyone used it and how did it come out.

No, that is not the correct paint. All factory hood spears are pot metal that has been chromed. So basically it's up to you to choose a color. Imo, I would use a bright metallic silver, clear the hell out of it and polish.

On my 64 polara 500 and every one i have seen the center section of the hood chrome is painted silver.
I ordered Argent Silver Mopar paint from Summit and it is a good match.

Mine was chromed, check out other cars, I'm sure you'll see the center hood trim is chromed.
