SOLD 65 Cable Shift Small Block 727 Transmission

I have an old style cable shifted 727 small block transmission from a 65 Coronet 500 that had the floor shift console. This is a one year only transmission! It is dirty and sat in a field and I cannot test it, but the cables are in good condition and work well. The shaft looks good. It is located in Savannah, GA. Before I part it out and sell the cables, trans pan and dipstick, I'll offer it whole for $125. I think it's too heavy to ship.​

That trans was also used in 64.

It was my impression that the 64 used the ball and trunion driveshaft instead of the slip in yoke.

That is correct for the ball and trunion, and some early 65's had it, but as the model year went on they where phased out to the slip yoke style. I thought that you were refering to the "cable shift as a one year only" deal, my bad.
