Doing a 4 speed (ball and trunnion) conversion to a 727. Car is a big block and has a 8 3/4 rear. Can anyone give me length of driveshaft for the 727?

I’d measure but I don’t have the trans in the car yet and I know I’ll need to get one built or find one from another year model that is the same length.

Thanks in advance.

I have a 65 Coronet with a 440, torque flight and a 8-3/4 rear. I'm just not sure how to measure the driveshaft without pulling the yoke out of the tranny. Is there a specific measurement you need.

Center of u-joint to center of u-joint would work.

I believe it should be 53” to 53-1/2”…from what I’ve heard.
