'66, not '65. Cast for the coming year. So that's a pretty early 440 i'd say.

Is the 66 440 internal or external balance? should be able to tell by the damper. 440'

thats a steel crank damper , non hp 361 383 413 426 440 steel crank type .

There were no cast cranks on a '66 440, so unless someone's been swapping parts....

There is evidence that the engine was apart at one time, new freeze plugs, after market gaskets. None the less - ALL PARTS are still for sale.......THIS add is for the BLOCK
