It has 14" American racing wheels 440's I think.
The ones on there are 225 70 14
I want to keep the wheels as they look nice and ate period correct.

I would go with the 245-60's in the rear and maybe the 225-70's up front depending on the look you are going for. I've always liked the big and little tire look on B's. The 245's should fit the rear wheelwells easily unless the wheels have some kind of unusual backspacing.

I would go for a 28" tire in the rear, and 26" in the front. 275/60/15 rear and 235/60/15 front. I run 8" wheels with 4.5" back spacing rear & 7" front.

Two different sizes are fine until one of the rear's goes flat !

I want to keep the old school rims that are on it. They are 14's

These are 225 75R 14's all the way around and are one original rims with DD caps.

Ok I started scrounging around my mopar parts.
I found three 15 inch steel wheels. Two are 15x6 one is 15x6.5
I also found some dog dishes that will look nice. I believe they are from a 68 Plymouth.
Anyone have a 15x6.5 that fits the smaller dishes laying around?
I'm figuring 225 60 15 on the front and 255 60 15 on the rear.

Just wanted to update if anyone is looking for info.
Ordered wheels fron summit racing. Wheel vintiques
Front 15x7 4"backspace BFG 225 60/15
Rear 15x8 4.5"backspace BFG 275 60/15
No clearance problems.
The rims are of good quality and made in the USA

I just put a brand new set of 235/60/14 all the way around on my 65 Coronet. That is about as big as you can go on the front because the inside of the tire barely clears the upper ball joint. When the car is jacked up in the front, and the suspension is at full travel..the tire actually touches the upper ball joint very lightly.

This looks good, sonny put these on painted rims with
"bottle caps"...P275/60R15 on rear.....
