The panels were already gone from my 65 Coronet when I got it....bought new boards, located the matching material to the headliner...can't find any help/ video on how to cover/install them correctly. I watched some vids for other cars, but it's obvious the same manner does not go with all of them...anyone know where I can get some info on this? Appreciate it

You have a 65 Coronet hardtop? That's what I have...Did you put sail panels in yuorself? I have pics of my car on here, go look at my garage, but no picks of interior...if you can help with info please do

Your looks a LOT nicer than mine! I'll take a picture tomorrow of sail panel on the inside. I have the back seat and all interior panels out. Thought headliner came down to the rear seat. It's a work in slow progress.

I hear ya...mines been apart 8 years...got only about 30 miles on the fresh 440.. getting down on the interior now, working from top to bottom...I put a headliner in it years ago, but never had sail panels, nor ever put any in...now, trying to figure out how...I have one board covered and ready to go. Pics would help, need to know how it's held on...according to other installation videos I've seen, there is excess material on the back edge, glued and behind back window molding and bottom, that would be glued, the top edge is wrapped around the back of the board and glued..need to confirm that is how they do it in this model...appreciate anything you can see and explain!

Yours a 440? I have extra trim, some pieces quadruple...will be putting it all up for sale in the near future

Well hear are the pic's. Looks like the molding holds on the board your talking about. The head liner covers them and goes under trim, could feel a hard surface under headliner. It starts at or slightly above the bottom of side window. My guess

is it goes close to where stitching on roof stops. As it gets up to interior light I can feel it but think it's there. Couldn't feel any screws under headliner.

w0w! ...and here I thought the board was on the OUTSIDE....I just dont see how the headliner pulls so "unwrinkled" from the roof down to the bottom....im scratching my head in disbelief

Hair dryer so a heat gun, might help but watch the heat!
Thanks for asking about trim, I have extra also.

i hear ya...i put that liner in prolly 15 years ago...just couldnt get a smooth finish where t starts down...but to learn the board is behind it......

hey man, I was successful in straightening out the liner....dont have the rear windshield trim back on , but I am happy .....only issue is, once i stretched the liner, it threw the interior light hole off towards the back..not changing the whole liner over it
