All depends on the car, of course. But, I'll say a ROUGH window of $20-$35k
I have a 66 Charger... The car is a complete driver, with 383 4V, 727 automatic, 3.23 open diff. It is all original... Rust Free... Runs good. The 383 4V was bored to .030 and new pistons/rings and bearing put in the car. It starts easily and doesnt smoke... Camshaft is a mild upgrade, with 383 Torker Manifold, and an Edlebrock 600 CFM carb. The 727 was professionally rebuilt back in 2010 and shifts beautifully...has a shift improver kit in her, and it will chirp the tires on the 1-2 shift.
I have complete pictures of it being restored by me... All rusted sheet metal was cut out and replaced with welded in patches.. It was stripped to bare metal, and then Primed with Eboxy Primer, then 2k Primer, block sanded with 500 grit paper and then painted PA9 (metallic grey) using BASF Base Coat and then Clearcoat by a professional painter. There are several imperfections in the paint... 1 is were the cowl meets the rest of the body... The cowl was replaced and the corners were filled in with Tiger Hair and thin coat of bondo... When the factory did it they used Lead... I used the Tiger Hair, and from jacking the car up there are cracks there were there was body flexing... Later i myself put a Plum Crazy stripe about 12" wide from the hood thru the roof and rear and it isnt real good job. Car looks great from 10 feet. The car has SSBC front disc brakes which are still manual, and the car does have power steering.
On the exterior the Headlights rotate and lock into position well. The passenger side headlight motor has a "grafted" new style electric motor (easily and inexpensive to replace) while the driver side is an original. I have a extra headlight motor which is a new style, ready to install but hasn't been. The front bumper is an original rechromed by the people in Tennessee Plating. Rear bumper is also an original and has some pitting. Wheels are still the 14" Magnum 500 wheels with BF Goodrich 235x60x14 tires with a lot of tread.
The interior has cloth seats (not the vynl) and look nice. The dash board gauges all work, and so does the EL with the exception of the tachometer needle which works but doesn't light up. The original AM radio is still in the car and does light up, but, doesn't work. I have an aftermarket Panasonic AM/FM Disc radio mounted under the dash and it functions with the 9x6 speakers mounted into the rear seat kick panels. Sounds very Nice. New custom black carpeting installed and looks great.
Car is located in Fuquay-Varina, NC... Garage kept, and run at least once a month. Im asking $22,000 for her. You can contact me at
