66/67 coronet front grill

I don't believe so. I think the head light buckets are different. I don't know if you can switch the buckets to make it work.

Does anyone know if a 66 front grill/headlights will fit a 67 front end?

No, the 66 head lights have spot welded buckets to the front fenders. Though going the other way is easier, just drill out the spot welds and you have a 67. If you are planning on doing that, I'd gladly buy the grill surrounds from your 67.

There's a 67 grille on ebay right now.

66 grilles are hard to find in not dented condition. The surround is right on the edge and gets beat to hell. Most of the 67s I see are in the $75-$150 range. $250-$500 for a 66.

...uh, guess I better clarify. Do you happen to have a 66 grille, and need one for a 67, or do you have a 67 car and really like the 66 grille?

I have a 67 with terrible surrounds. I also like the grill on the 66.
My grill and headlight covers are in great condition.
Just trying to figure whst to do with the front that wont cost the. same as a small house

Yeah not a big fan of ebay and not in a terrible hurry. But thanks for the info.

Why is it that all of these things have this problem? Mine is the exact same way, perfect grille and surrounds but my pass side surround is absolutely fubar. On a positive note my hood trim is mint.

Boy did I speak too soon. 400 for one 67 side, just the surround, $500 for the other.

The 67s get beat too, but not quite as bad for some reason, maybe the pointy shape or slightly thicker?

Of course, the one I saw a couple of days ago is gone.

I did just learn that the panel that the headlight buckets bolt/weld to can be unbolted from the fender. I'm on my 4th 66/67 and hadn't realized that before.
