66 - 67 Coronet/Satellite trunk lid question

What are or are there any differences between the 66 to 67 trunk lids beside the different trim pieces ? Are the 4 door car trunk lids the same as 2 door? I found a real nice no rust trunk lid with the Plymouth trim and backup lights in the trim.

Yes 67 has a small U channel across back, tail light to tail light.

66 and 67 hoods are the same.

66 and 67 trunk lids are different.

On a 66, the center between the style lines is lower, on a 67 it's higher.

As stated above the recess for the trim on a 67 is much deeper.

The tail lights also do not line up with the trunk trim between the two.

66 back up lights are in the deck lid, 67 is in the bumper.

That was Dodge.

Plymouth is different from Dodge.

66 and 67 backup lights are different shapes and the hole is stamped in the deck lid.


2 door and 4 door are the same however, for the same year.

Every trunk lid is Specific/different, 66/67 Dodge/Plymouth

Thought the hood differed where headlight bezel fit in because of quad headlights.
