66-67 hardtop quarter glass the same?

Never tried the swap but the glass looks the same but sometimes the mounting holes are different if the factory made a change during the run for whatever reason. Anyone know what might be different if any? Will a 67 glass go into a 66 car? Tanks

I can tell you that the stainless trim on the leading edge of the glass is different (how it attaches at the aluminum bracket) between the years but, I'd guess you could swap complete assemblies between '66 & '67

No they're different. 66 has the glass bonded into a large cast piece while the 67 has the glass bolted to a smaller channel. I think the rollers also operate differently so they can't be interchanged.
