This is going to be incredibly slow and increasingly painful. Consider yourself warned. I have no long term goals for this car, just to drive and piddle with.

I bought this car from someone who should'nt weild tools of any sort.

The PO though it would be a great idea to put a Holley 650 4bbl on the stock 2bbl intake with the help of an a-dapter kit.

I recently bought the correct carb/aircleaner from Dako, who is great to deal with btw.

Today I installed the new to me carb, after a little tuning, the car idles, accepts throttle so much better.

This brings me to the 1st of many questions.

I think there is a problem with the throttle cable. Does anyone have a pic of an original setup?

I will post pics just as soon as photobucket stops being a pain in the ***.

I have found it easier to load the pics directly to my computor then just hit the browse button and search your picture files for the pic you want to post. If they don't load you may have to resize them.

Here are the 1st 2 pics.

Glad it all worked out.

I'm assuming the car came with that upper radiator hose? I need one of those and have yet to find anything but 'universal' hoses when I search. If anybody knows where that hose can be acquired, I would be your best friend for a day!

Mods, please delete. Someone out of the blue offered me more than I could turn down. Sold the car.

Sounds like you made out good.. Hope you get another b-body, there a great car.. good luck to you..
