I'm an active-duty Marine working on a project car, a '66 Plymouth Belvedere. While I’ve traveled the world and served in combat, I’ve trusted a few shops to help with my project. Although I’ve completed most of the work myself, body and paint aren't my strong suits—though I hope to learn these skills one day.
I've included two photos below: one shows the original car, and the other depicts how it looks after getting painted. The shop that handled the bodywork and paint removed the trim and clips, but when reassembling the car, they used screws to attach the trim directly to the body. I didn’t like this approach, so I removed the screws and had the trim chrome-plated. However, I’m currently struggling to find replacement clips for the trim down the side of the car. Primarily because I lack an example of what the clips look like before they are removed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
