66 belvedere

Did any 66 Belvederes come with a 440 Everthing i can find says no. But what about special cars like policecars

66 was the first year for the 440 and was Chrysler only.

First year in a Dodge or Plymouth was 67 and in R/T or GTX.

What motor came in a vintage Mopar is really easy to tell by the VIN, unlike the other brands.

They did the same thing with the 360 in 71. Chrysler only. 72 was first year for Dodge/Plymouth.

There were around 81,000 2dr 66 Plymouths, Belvedere and Satellite, built 47 years ago. Then there were like 750,000 440s built from 66-78 in everything Mopar put out. So over the years, how many of those 440's ended up between the frame rails of those Belvederes? My experience is, thousands! I've got a 66 Satellite and a 67 Belvedere in my driveway right now, both which received the Hot Rodders option sometime after leaving the factory!
