1966 Dodge Coronet 440, Hemi Tribute. Converted and restored properly from a rust free 61K original miles Canadian 6-cylinder. All proper Hemi items – starter block, K-member, torsion bars, leaf springs, etc. Power steering, manual front disks. A few things not correct for a 1966, such as the 1969 block and valve covers, dual master cylinder, etc., but otherwise pretty darn close. Everything works except the radio and windshield spritzer. Original red interior in excellent shape, seats and headliner, but new carpet. Body straight as an arrow, all original sheet metal. All metal/brightwork and glass is in excellent condition. Excellent correct W1 factory Alpine white re-spray. Cool dog dish wheels and new redline bias ply tires.
Engine built by Jim Gosselin with a 1969 block and Indy iron heads. Stroked to 472 ci. Forged crank, rods, pistons, 10.9:1 CR, runs well on 92 pump gas. Aluminum intake, 2 period correct 600cfm AFB carbs (although no choke). Dyno’ed in 2020 at the wheels at 415 HP at 5450rpm, 503 TQ at 3200rpm. Correct for drive-line loss, this is jump or two above stock. Has ran maybe 2000 miles since built. 18 spline A833 is backed by a 11" Macleod clutch, and Hurst shifter. Rear is a 3:54:1 Dana 60 Sure Grip. Factory exhaust manifolds feed into 2 ½” exhaust with H-pipe and Maganaflows.
Looks, runs, sounds and drives as it should. Your chance to get into a period correct Hemi for half the price of a numbers matching car.
