66 Dart, 67 Satellite hoods

I have been working on my Mopars more lately since recently retiring. I have noticed in most pictures that most cars do not have the heat lining on the underside of the hood. I installed that on both mine a few years back but now wonder if I'm trapping the heat. Opinions please?
Also I have a 440 in my Satellite and I am thinking about pulling it, installing it in my Dart and parting the Satellite due to rust getting out of hand. Opinions again please?

How bad is the rust? your talking about parting the car in the picture?

Yes. Frame rail and cross member have damage. Bubbling starting on normal exterior panels. There was some damage on passenger floor but was repaired. Loads of spare parts bought. Would be interested in sale with motor if interested
