66 Hemi Plymouths

I would like to have both, but for no were near the $47K-$50K prices, the statement original is being kind of deceptive, it seams to me, either 1 isn't "original"...

FYI, but the first one with worn paint was for sale on fleabay a few months ago (there can't be two identical looking 66 HEMI Bel II autos around!). It was in the So Cal area and I want to say it had a BIN at $26K or something but I can't remember exactly. I tried to find the old listing but didn't find that either.

Is this a trick question? For the same money I see no reason why I wouldn't stampede right for the Sat. Also, there is no such thing as numbers matching in 66 so all you can really verify is correct date and stamp pad info.

The car was in Orange, Ca around the corner from my shop. He was asking $55 for it and the auction only went to 26K. Now that I look at it I think you are right about it being the same car. Someone is trying to flip it.

Yeah, but that will get old real quick when you are driving it or taking it to a show with a sign on it bragging and telling the audience that it is the original paint. People will walk away scratching their heads with a puzzled look on their faces saying to their buddy "why doesn't he just paint it and make it respectable looking?"

I disagree, I have owned plenty of "patina'd" original paint cars and I buy them for me, so what other people think doesn't really hold much water with me. I buy them to enjoy them and rarely go to shows other than to spectate. I am a drag racer at heart and probably would run the crap out of it. Nice plug on your car though. I wouldn't own a 4 door no matter how rare.

It was not a plug but rather a comparision for values and where you would be on either of the subject cars. BTW MY car is a 2 door sedan which is what the racers want/like.

Ah ha! I knew it! And I thought I saw $26K in the listing somewhere. That's probably a realistic price considering it will need paint, etc... to make it right.

My mistake sorry about that. That makes way more sense now. What condition is your car in?

Here are a few pictures of it.
