Ive been lurking around for quite some time and have a question that I know has been whipped to death. I have owned my Satellite for over 30 yrs. and I am in the finishing stages of a complete redo. It's time for rollers and I was thinking of 15/7 Torque thrust wheels with 235/60 or maybe Crager SS with the same tire size. Does this sound like a good combination. I plan on lowering the car 2 to 3 inches for a level stance. What would you do, larger tire? 8in rim? and what back spacing. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

TY. Dan

Hey Dan, I will be following this thread as well since I have 66. I did a boeing stint in the 90's. Use to live in Auburn and then Lacey. Nice car!

15x8 with a 4 1/2" bs. On all four corners with.your choice of wheek. And a 255x60x15 would fit your bill and ride better than 235's

I have the following on my 66 Satellite

4.5 inch back space is required on wheels. No clearence issues.

Thanks Mike, I have been looking for this as well. I have some used 235's on mine now but will look at 255's in the future. Could you elaborate on the 4.5 inch backspace? thanks
