This thread jogged my memory, I ran into the same prob on a driver side window for my 67 coronet, I had a used 66 glass shipped to me and could not use it because of that notch, It will show a very little bit of the notch when the window is rolled up.
So I stuck it on the glass rack and its still there LOL.
Could be 66 may use a different vent window seal that covers it up ? don't know for sure.
The 1966 Coronet has the same notch, and I'm 98.67057% sure the same applies to the '66 Plymouth "B"-body. The window rubber has that same indent for '66. That is the only difference I am aware of.
If you are swapping ONLY the glass, it matters. If you are swapping an entire door assembly, the door doesn't care if it's on a '66 or a '67.
