67 b body fuel sender question

Hi everyone I was wondering if there are any part numbers stamped on an original 67 gtx fuel sender I found an old sender in my garage was wondering if it's original any pics would be great

Never removed one that was in good enough condition to tell. My guess is no.

Ok all you B body gurus what is it that I have the part number appears to be correct but if you look carefully the sender portion is upside down

That doesn't look correct at all. Has it been modified or is it broken?

I got it with a used fuel tank years ago and never thought much about it until recently tired of my repop fuel sender reading incorrectly so I decided to take a closer look at it I wish I could find a used one
