In an earlier post said my original 67 hood ornament was all red, wrong I think. This is a highly magnified picture looks red where 426 is and black on top. If I don't forget, picture tomorrow.

I say that's correct for a 67 Hemi car.

So why do they sell them painted all black ( not that it matters- I thought the black would stand out better)

That ornament was given to me by a friend in 1978 who worked at a dealer.
