Trying to get some info on a 1967 RO23 Belvedere for a friend. Does anyone know what size tires/wheels came from the factory? Also were they delivered with a spare tire and jack?
For my curiosity, Any documentation on how many of these cars still exist?
Thanks.

There's a RO/WO 23 Facebook page, or you can contact Scott Harm of Harms automotive in Spokane Wa..

Wheels were 15 x 6 JK, tires were 7.75 x 15 blackwall. I am not sure about the jack and spare being delivered with the car, but I would think that since they were trying to get ballast in the trunk by placing the battery there, having a spare would help. I know that a 15" spare will fit because I put one in mine.

Thanks. Keep the info coming. I'm passing evrything on to my friend.
I forgot to add that my fender tag has 995 for tires. According to my sales code reference book, 99 is for "Special Order" and the number "5" is the number of tires.

The 995 means special order tires in quantity 5. So it had a spare. Did it have a jack?

They were built as a race car, no sound dedender, no heater, no radio. On a production car in back in the 60's you were allowed to run a spare tire and it could be any size but the same diameter wheel..

The spare tire well is the same size as any other 67 b body car. I know a 215/70-15 fits in the well. There are short 15" tires and tall 15" tires. Just because it's a 15" tire doesn't mean it's tall. Honda accords used 195/69-15 and they are short.

Here is a tag from the web
