Hi all. I’d like to know where I can get a pair of the front sway bar brackets and bushings. I can find the bushings in both rubber and poly, which I would also like a recommendation on, but would like to get a set of brackets as well. The ones that are on the car are the triangular shaped design . Mine appear to have hit or flattened a bit. Thanks

I used poly for the sway bar
made by Energy Suspension
bought from Summit

Use Rubber on the A arms when you rebuild them
That Energy Suspension kit for the sway bar is great. I used rubber as well for the upper control arms, but you don't like the poly bushings? I went and used Poly on my lower control arms.

I don't care for poly on the control arms
Mopar used the largest bushing and they can take a lot
IMO poly bushings make for a harsher ride and increased chance to develop a squeak

When I put in the poly bushings for the lower A arms, I used a pin that has a grease fitting on the end.

I don't know of any source for the triangular brackets other than used OEM. Fairly common for them to be bent/flattened from curbs and parking tombstones so it is hard to find good ones. You may be able to cut the straps off the base, straighten them and weld them back on with the new bushing in place.

My original brackets were replaced with generic u-shaped ones many years ago and tossed. At that time, triangular bushings were not available so the generic brackets were the only choice. I wanted to go back to the original style brackets a few years ago. Couldn't find anyone selling repro brackets so had to buy an original sway bar with brackets (actually 2 because the first set had bent brackets despite the seller saying they weren't).

It is difficult, but possible, to replace the bushings without cutting the brackets.

I'd check Classic Industries or Paddock Parts for repro brackets, but you might have better luck finding decent used ones at a swap meet.
