67 Coronet Headliner question

Gentlemen,

Could you tell me if the are suppose to be support bow for the headliner on a 67 Coronet? as the car sit now there is nothing bare metal.

I don't know if is supposed to be smooth like over a cardboard style backing or use bows.

There should be 5 top bows that hold the headliner in place! If you need the bows? I have an extra set I'll sell.
