Does this tac need anything else other than a wiring harness, and where do the harness go and attach too,the something else iam referring to is something like a sending unit to make it work?

None of the OEM MoPar tachs that I have seen from the 60's needed a sending unit. Usually two wires - a blue for switched 12V and gray for the signal off the points. Orange or yellow would be for the light.

Oh, and I should add that none of the OEM MoPar tachs from the 60's worked worth a crap if they worked at all. Same with the clock.

If it's a 67 console tach, it should have 4 wires, not 2, sending unit is built inside. If you post a picture of wires, I can tell you where they go.

All 66 console tachs had external sender, same with 66 Charger tachs. I have had no issues with factory tachs working

My 67 tach does not have a sending unit. It works, but I don't think it was ever very accurate.
