67 R/T 4 day detail

I took delivery of my 67 Coronet R/T last Saturday. The paint was in need of correcting as it was dry and rough to the touch. Over the last 4 days, I completed a full detail which consisted of a foam wash, clay bar, compounding, 3 steps of polish to refine the paint, followed by a carnuba wax. The paint is leaps better and is smooth like glass. Just need to install the new antenna since it was missing.

The engine was rebuilt by Steve Hagberg a couple years ago and the dyno charts show 450hp and 530lb ft tq. The 4spd shifts smooth and has a Dana 60 3.55 suregrip rear axle. Hoping to bring it out to some car shows this weekend if the weather cooperates.

Your R/T looks great! It is surprising what some elbow grease can accomplish. Your Coronet is wearing Dart hubcaps, however.

Nice looking car. Great color that is seldom seen.
nice to see the pinstripe on the correct position on the car.
Steve was a great mopar guy.
Must upgrade wheels and caps.

Your R/T looks great! It is surprising what some elbow grease can accomplish. Your Coronet is wearing Dart hubcaps, however.

Appreciate the heads up ref the hubcaps. Is there a good source for the correct caps?

That is a 66 charger, 383, 4spd I picked up last year. True one owner car which was purchased from my town where I grew up (cherry hill, NJ)

I dont know this person but seen the ad a few weeks back, pretty sure they are correct.

Actually those caps are a little bit of a oddball, maybe someone else could chime in on exactly what year they are.
