67 Satellite

Putting my car up for sale. '67 Satellite, no rust underneath, floors and frame very solid. Needs light body work and paint.

Has a stock '68 440, Hooker Competition Headers (cost more than 300 dollars), Holley 770 Street Avenger carb (400 bucks), just rebuilt 727 torqueflite with about 1000 miles on it, runs great and doesn't smoke at all.

I want to move it to buy something else. Must move it fast. Its in Danbury, CT. Id like to get 6500.

Nice looking Satellite, how's the interior ?

Interior is typical of a 150000 mile, 40 year old car. Its a good driver quality car, and id say the interior is the same. The drivers and passenger seats have tears on the seams, the back seat has a torn seam on the bottom, it needs a carpet, and the headliner has a tear on both sail panels that someone ripped open to get the chrome C pillar moldings off. The dashboard looks good, it needs radio knobs. The interior chrome is as near to mint as you could expect. I had two guys with '67 GTXs offer to buy the interior trim at cruise nights. The door panels are passable.

It doesn't look like a pile of crap when you look inside though, just worn, Ill get some pics of the interior tomarrow.

This car has been my daily for two years. Its got 2.94s in the rear and if I get my asking price I'll include a sure grip third member with the car. You get in it, pump the gas three times, fire it up, put it in drive and drive it away. No rough idle, spitting gas out of the exhaust, engine screaming on the highway. It just motors along effortlessly and trouble free. I take 2 hour plus trips regularly during the summer.
