FOUND 68-70 B body center a/c vents

Looking for a 68-70 center A/C vent in good condition, no broken parts. My current one has the two bottom mounting tabs broken.

Try heating 2 small washers or pieces of looped wire and pressing them into the plastic where the tabs were.

Or, see if you can buy a new one by itself like those that come with the AC kits.

Thanks but I'm looking for one without the busted tabs. I glued small washers to the broken tabs and was able to install it. It works fine. I'm just looking for a replacement so next time I take my dash apart I can install it. I know it might seem unnecessary to some since mine works and you can not tell once installed. But thats just me. Thanks anyway. Have a great New year.

Thanks for the suggestion. Thats kind of what I did. I used super glue and small washers. It works and once installed you can't tell. Just looking for a better one to swap out in the future.

I've got one, but one spreader bar popped off...going to be a tedious pain in the *** to get back on the pins... PM if interested

I bought one about ten years ago in LA from Daryl at “Desert Auto” or some such. Paid a Princely fee. Been in the shed, never did the conversion. Couldn’t find it last time I looked. If I come across it I’ll let you know. Not likely though. Not sure if he’s still in business. Won’t bargain and no fun to deal with. Said he had to cannibalize 3 assemblies to make one.

Thanks FBBO. I now have two more, both need some work but hopefully I'll be able to repair both.
