So my convertible project has been so long in the making (but getting close) that I'm having a hard time remembering and figuring out some re-installation on the windshield.

Is it my understanding that I need to first install the 4-piece wide trim along the top and sides of the opening, then the thinner trim's clips, then the windshield and seal, and finally the thinner windshield trim? Is this the logical order?

The other question is that I see remnants of some foam on the back of the wide trim pieces. Is there a kit available for this? I've searched around but maybe I'm not searching for the right terminology.

Any help is appreciated.

I installed mine with none of the trim in place. Installed all trim later, had no problem
