Is this an "A" OR "B" Body trans?
Thanks,Sam (in N/E Ohio)

Sorry I apparently didn't finish the ad, I came out of a 68 dodge charger and I believe it was original. I have had it for probably 40 years

Would you post the partial vin stamp on it? Curious on which Charger it came out of. A 383 by chance? Thanks.

Dan

There is a good picture of the side, it doesn't have a boss.

Interesting. The I thought all '68 A833 cases had a raised pad, stamped or not. Hmm....

Thanks.

Dan

Most likely...66/67 b body trans...check front bearing size

Ya after doing some research I guess it has to be a 66 or a 67 no way to tell, Unless some one can verify for me which year. According to Brewers web site 68 has a boss with the info stamped in.

Does it really matter if it came from a 66 or 67 as opposed to a 68? Aren't they the same? Asking because I may be interested.
