Do these things come apart so that I can remove/install bulbs without taking the whole assembly out of the fender?

I was able to do it easily on the sockets in the rear quarters, but these are seriously stuck in there. I've tried prying where they look like they should come apart with medium effort and they don't want to budge.

Hm yea that seems to be the issue. Thanks for the link. Strange that they would use 2 different kinds of housings, but I guess because one is protected in the trunk vs. the exposed one in the fender?

The parking light housings in my car are different front to rear. I know the car was in a front end collision many years ago, so I don't know if these are all original to the car. Here are some pics showing the differences.

The fronts screw apart and the light socket does not remove from the base. The metal socket is formed into the threaded part. It will spin but not come out without breaking stuff.

The rears are a different construction. The pigtail with the bulb and socket clips in to the housing. The housing is one assembly that is staked together.
