What is the original diameter for the hoses for a big block car?

Thanks, I wanted to make sure mine were correct. On my car, according to the restoration parts places I have the "Hemi" heater hose bracket. So I ordered the one that is supposed to be on a big block non-ac but is much smaller and my hoses fit in but are really tight.
