I'm in no position to go look and therefore no position to bid on this.. just curious what you guys thought. Specifically on the '71 440 he mentions is in this thing. Were those externally balanced? Does that suck/matter at all? How much should this sell for if everything works correctly?

Makes no real difference to me on a Driver quality car. I prefer to balance the rods, crank and pistons, and I have used forged and cast stuff. If your racing it will matter other wise no big deal, Chargers are probably one of the most wanted Dodge automobiles, therefore they are valued higher in most cases it seems. I betcha he's asking more than 30 and hey it's worth what he gets out of it. Nice car.

It is a typical example of everything is "loved up" on the outside and underneath looks like rubbish. Nice shiny paint, but riddled with rust, corrosion, over-spray, grease, unfinished and half-assed workmanship under-hood and underneath. At first glance the car looks OK, but take a long look and see what you are getting for the money. Even the pedal dress-up was only half done.

I'm really digging how the pistol grip is pointed at the driver! "The wing is signed by Richard Petty"... probably at gunpoint.

How much should this sell for if everything works correctly?
The top car has lots of potential, but it definitely looks like an amateur resto (like the kind I would do!). Easy to imagine there is 20-25 tied up in it but too bad it's a 20-footer. Risky purchase, needing a re-paint (if it all goes to hell).

Looks like some pretty wicked tiger stripping on the trunk lid.

"...paint job is fair..."
This quote combined with the other visible half-jobs on this car would equal a total money pit for you. That is, if you're interested in an at least half decent car that you would be proud to drive.
IMHO, stay away.

Yeah that velour kinda kills it for me. If there wasn't any rust issues I'd say this is a mid to high $20s car.
