Hi folks,

Little background here, I got this car (68 Coronet 440 model) as pretty much a box of parts, the dash was already partially disassembled.

I've cleaned up my instrument cluster (cleaned the black, touched up needles, etc) but for the life of me can't figure what is supposed to
hold the gauge lens to the instrument cluster once it's installed. I can't see that there are any screw holes, etc. I found (and bought) a
bezel that looks like it would hold the lens on, but the more I scour the interwebs looking for pictures I'm not convinced a 440 model had one.

Here's mine:

Here's what I *think* the dash should look like:

If I install mine *as is* (with no bezel) then the only thing holding the lens in would be the chrome strip that attaches
to the underside of the dash across the top, and the dash pad along the bottom. That just doesn't seem right.

I have the 68 manual but haven't been able to really glean anything from it either.

Hope my questions clear and thanks for your help!
Robbie

Oh and here's the bezel I bought (along with a cracked lens). Not sure if it will even work with the chrome
strip that goes completely across.
