68 coronet tail panel

Hello everyone. Im new to to the site and currently restoring a 68 coronet RT. The bottom of the tail panel below the tail lights is pretty rusted out. I see that they offer a new tail light panel for a 69 coronet but not a 68. It kinda looks like the lower part of the 69 tail panel matches the 68 from what I can see. Thought about purchasing one, cutting the bottom off and welding onto the 68. Do any of you folks know if they are the same on the lower section? Thanks everyone

Sounds like a good price for a rare piece. Im still looking to find out if the new 69 panel could be used though. What state are you located in?
