Thanks for sharing,
looks pretty cool,
hope it survives the hi-speed launches off the tracks
the slot car bodies were really flexy, not stiff like models IIRC
I use to love slot cars
my stepdad Bob got me into them
we had some bigger ones & smaller ones
carry case & extra motors & brushes tires tec.
I was all decked out for a youngster
not 100% sure of the scales now,
I want to say 1/24 or 1/18
we use to go to a place in Concord
that had a couple killer banked tracks
several different styles, had a drag-stip too & assorted scales
Buzzy Bees off Concord Blvd.
I had a Lionel railroad set & Aura slot-car track
on pulleys/blocks attached to a couple pieces of plywood
that lowered down out in the garage
painted landscapes, scenery, tunnels, stops & crossings etc.
bring back fond memories, lots of hours spent out there
I had a couple cool exotics & a couple of old
30's hotrods & Willys etc. my fasted IIRC was a
late 60's Lambo Miura, the white tires IIRC were fast & great grip
My stepdad Bob made his own frames out of brazing wire
trick high wind count motors special brushes etc.
