There is a V-style roller that is riveted to the door window regulator on the '66-'70 2-door models. The one on our car is frozen, and I haven't had any luck getting it freed up. Does anyone make replacement rollers for these? I hate to spend the money for the whole regulator just because of a bad roller.

I've checked RT Specialties, Charger Specialties, Year One, Mega Parts, and a few others with no luck.

could try ebay, or a wrecking yard, i just removed entire window internals as i put electric ones in but i am not sure exactly thje part you are after as i wont be needing the parts any longer

All I need is the $5 roller that goes on the tip of the arm. AMD reproduces the window regulator for around $130, so I know someone is supplying them. Just hoping that someone on the site may know who carries the rollers.

Thanks. I checked Laysons on-line catalog, and it showed a kit of 2 different sizes selling for $26for the pair. It said it was for both an A and a B body, which is confusing because the B body uses just a single roller. I talked to Dave and he said their catalog is wrong, that the kit only fits A body cars. Still looking for a replacemment roller for my B body.

Been around cars a long time and believe in the adage that if one side is frozen, the other side (roller) can't be far behind. No doubt it's the drivers side(?)

If you can find the kit, it might be worth tearing into both doors and replacing all the rollers, greasing it and re-assembling. I bought a 68 GTS a while back and the guy had removed the doors when he painted. He took the time to tear the regulators apart, put in new rollers and grease everything. The windows function like they were new.

My 68 Super bee has sticky windows, that don't quite reach the weatherstripping, won't do all the way up with the doors closed (stinks while driving) and exhibit friction going up/down. I'm gonna have to tear into those, but might as well do it all (do it right) while I'm in there.....

Just my two cents.

The problem is with the passenger's door. I've had the driver's door apart already, and a previous owner had already replaced the roller on that window. That's why I'm looking for one for the passenger's side, but no luck so far.
