68 Road Runner Hood call out screws

I have a set of hood inserts and the holes for the call out screws are tapped too big. Does anyone know the thread size? I am thinking like 6-32 but not sure. I have the correct screws but they are so short I don't know if I can get a good reading. I am hoping to get heli coil inserts. Anyone repaired this problem?

I would fill the holes with epoxy and re-drill the holes. Don't try to over think it!

Those look right - the screw heads are small vs the thread size. Glad there's a new source; those used to be unobtainable.
If you really have to re-drill & tap the holes, getting them straight is critical.
