68 RR Bezels

Have two sets of originals, both of course look like crap. Tried everything to get some color back, but no go. I am going to get a quote on re chroming, but my question is what do i use to prep them for chroming (as in, what do I sand them down with??). Sorry, noob question. They are $275 for repro, so just deciding if which route.

What bezels are you talking about? If you are having something rechromed let the shop do the needed prep.

If you're talking about the rear tail light bezels I just got repro lenses and bezels for $399.00 My old ones were pitted and bubbled. Most chrome shops don't like to tackle pot metal.

As you can see they made a huge difference.
