68 rr plate behing brake power booster

Hey does anyone know the color of the plate that is behind the brake power booster on the firewall on a 68 rr? Black of color of the car? Thanks phil

They were black....installed after the car was painted from the factory. I'm not sure of the amount of gloss, but I don't think they were gloss black from the factory.
