im working on a 1968 satellite sport. The passenger side door switch has a second wire coming off like it was for a 4 door but it's a two door. Some of the harness was eaten by rats and I have no clue where this second wire was connected. Any ideas?

Also, does anyone have a picture of the wiring for the map light. Same issue and it's hard to tell the exact wiring from the schematics.

Thanks!

The third link is a bit harder to read, drawing "A" is easier.
According to the drawing the passenger door connector looks like it also has a splice which is a continuation of the harness (See drawing "A").

Don't let the drawings intimidate you. Just focus on the wires you are concerned with. I used to say if you can read a map and get where you need to go, you can read a schematic. That was before GPS.
