Rear window only, due to color of wires. Your switch clicks on 3 different places. A top switch is spring loaded to center when released. Has red and yellow wires of larger gauge.
Knob is reversible for both applications. A good idea but NO bODY can grasp the idea 55 years later. LOL

It's actually a 70 rear defrost switch. As suggested the top switch has more wires and different colors. I am interested at $60 shipped to MI 48837.
