I'm considering a next build and am honing in on a Trans Am theme. Not too many technical articles out there regarding frame, suspension, brakes or differential modifications from the stock vehicles. By any chance are there any old school knowledgeable folks on these builds? Any resources worth reading or visiting? Any vintage builders I should be focusing on?

Thanks

tried xv motorsports?

What brand/model you considering?

Mopar had a race bulletin on it. There is quite a lot of information online if you look for it.

mid size cars/lighter cars, some were actually acid dipped
(rules were bent all over the place, their personal interpretations)

need to look up the actual riles for the series
the suspension were pretty stock & beefing them up
boxed in upper & lower CA's, better bigger torsion bars or springs
better shocks & limiters big rubber stops, bigger better sway-bars front & rear
racing tires, for rain & dry closed road courses etc.

I went to a few as a kid,
Ontario Motor Speedway, Orange Co.,
Riverside was awesome
& later Sears Point (Infinion), Laguna Seca

Don't quote me;
IIRC (may have been 96" min.)
100" min. - 108" max wheelbase in the under 5ltr over 2ltr sedans class

Challengers, Cudas, Darts, Barracuda (pre 70)
Camaros, Firebirds, Mustangs, Mavericks,
many AMC/AMX & Javelins were
